Not a good idea. If you bring the DSI to syria then those damn ISIS hooligans might just built a super stealth aircraft. I imagine they would perform kamikaze attacks, or even worse kamikaze attacks while wearing suicide vests.

It's not THAT important to Russia.

Selling weapons is what they want.

Ukraine and other matters are much more important for Russia. They'll not send troops to die for Syria.

Having said that, they did paint Russian MIGS in Egyptian colours and were going to send Russian pilots to fight Israel in 1967.

Now that Nusra captured Idlib, we know FSA is hardly a force in Syria anymore, only left in Daraa. Should Russia therefore deploy military including air force, army, navy, cruise missiles to Syria to aid Assad fight Qaeda units like Nusra, ISIS, Islamic Front?

I think so because Russia is the biggest super power and needs combat experience.

Both of the agurments dont match up. US is a superpower not because they use showcase their weapons, but rather because they don't hesitate to use them in war when need arises and their combat experience is exponentially higher than the "biggest super power"
