Hi,

Now is not the time to react outward---but the time is ripe to react inwards---it is time to start the cleanup----. It is not a time to burn u s flags or effigy's of other----that is the job of cowards---men of honor don't burn foreign flags and effigys of other men---that is like practising BLACK MAGIC --- AMAZING ISN'T IT--- so many muslim scholars---muftis---maulans---ulemas---practising BLACK MAGIC in public---in the open---on video----and the pakistanis are blind right in front of their eyes---.

Simply Master has beaten the paid dog .

nothing to bother becoz our govt and establishment are paid dogs of their Masters USA,,,
USA is symbol of power so they worship washington DC if any other nation will become unipolar super power in the world ,they will start worshiping them and will make news gods .

Resign is a small word, either he should take immediate steps of shoot himself before someone within the army does so...its a limit of disgrace for Pak Army

As a nation we need to act responsibly and after due deliberation of the pros and cons of our response.

I am not suggesting that we do nothing but should we shoot ourselves in the foot and hurt Pakistan even more? If we attack NATO forces, this would surely mean an act of war, which should be avoided all costs.

To keep our honour as well as to ensure that situation is not repeated the following steps could be taken.

- Keep NATO supplies stopped indefinitely.
- Stop all intelligence and any military cooperation even if it means no military and economic aid from the NATO countries in the near future.
- Cut down the Embassy staff to the bare minimum and reduce the diplomatic contact to Charge d’Affairs instead of the full Ambassador.

We should keep these measures in place until all the personnel responsible for authorization of attack on Pakistani posts are punished; cast iron guarantees are received that such attacks will not recur and that drone attacks inside Pakistani are stopped.

It is certain that the above actions would result in stopping of all military and economic aid but these actions are now necessary as all indications are that this was a deliberate act and not an accidental ‘Friendly fire’. Resignation of the COAS or any other Pakistani military commander is neither a solution nor a just response.

This is what i said... start with diplomatic response, most of above.. what ever anger nation have, shall be reflected from Presidential statement, while media shall act responsibly and stop chasing kayani for statements.

If Pakistan foreign office think the incident is greif enough, than they have the right to close US embassy.. no need to go for military response.

As far blocking transit aid to NATO is concerned, its a big joke because NATO can have his necessary supplies under various other names.
The supply block only stand a chance of success when all transport movement to Afghanistan be blocked, but given the situation that few days back bharat has been granted MFN so his transit aid can't be blocked.
I think MFN aid to bharat was timely planned by anti Pakistan forces and neatly executed by ghadari.

Assalam alaikum

i don't think anybody is calling to take on nato

but attack on GHQ, mehran base , abbotabad , attack on pak troops earlier and now

yeh top general ko sharam bhi a ti hay ya nahi?

we always start calling for the resignation of politicians and have them entered in prisons armed forces personnel also should be hold responsible , it was right time to ask for their resignation during may02

TARIQ

When did ghadari came on TV and boosted morale of generals?
If generals do any thing they would be court martialed on disciplinary grounds.

hmmm...Why should Kayani resign? He has done an excellent job....as a politician. Every time anything has gone wrong, he has blamed, everyone, from Zardari to the Americans. That is a mark of a great politician, to never take blame for anything. Now that he has turned the Pakistani public against the west and the democratic government, he can finally take over power and continue the great tradition of Army men who were, directly or indirectly, responsible for our pathetic destruction in every armed conflict this nation has ever seen, only to be rewarded with the position of top dog as President of Pakistan.
No, Kayani shouldn't resign, he should be promoted and praised for embarrassing Pakistan at a global level, that even his predecessors couldn't match.

Absolutely right! thats what we need to do right away......plus we need to shoot down any US/NATO drone/aircraft coming within our airspace at the very first instant... no matter what.....and we don't need any resignation from any of the ruling elite cuz resignation gonna be an easy way for them to eascape... If anybody in our present elite refuses to do the above stuff shold be arrested right away for teason and punished accordingly.......:smokin:

One could justify call for resignation of COAS after the attack on GHQ and on Osama affair and for Chief of Naval Staff after the Mehran affair. But pray tell me how could an unprovoked attack on Pak Army border post by NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan reflects on the competency or balls of Gen Kiyani?

Had army responded thru forceful action, you would have seen the same pundits calling Pak Army ‘rouge army’ and calling for COAS resignation for that reason. Just like Lal Masjid, media pundits built up the pressure for months by questioning the ‘Non action’ by Musharraf gov’t. However when the action was finally taken, they came down on Musharraf like a ton of bricks

I have read in UK newspapers that an action against Taliban was taking place in the neighbouring Kunar province and the helo gunships for called in for support. Someone within the ISAF & NATO command structure must have authorized the attack on Pak post as there was clearly Pak flag waving on the posts. What could Kiyani have done to prevent it?

One must remember that military actions against foreign aircrafts/ships or land forces are authorized by the political authority. Order to shoot down the drones is a policy decision and must come from the President or Prime Minister. Similarly the decision to respond to any future NATO attack on PAK Army border post thru military force must also come from the political authorities.

I am therefore disappointed by the call for the blood of Kiyani for this incident. If anyone in Pakistan is responsible, it should be the political leadership. However, safeguarding lives of PAK Army jawans is responsibility of the COAS. Kiyani should pressurize Zardari/Gilani to not to restore the ‘status quo’ without guarantees from NATO that such action will not be repeated.

.
Sir,,

What would the whole nation do----pakistani people are like air in a brown paper bag----.
Sir Whole nation will come and fight along the Army you just give a call and you will see what happens next Army should not only stand up but also fight back and hit back who ever attacks it and declare and open Jihad and stop all the supplies of Nato and stop giving afghans the root to sea for trade until and unless NATO beg for Mercy on its Knees

.
resign will not help the cause of pakistan infact it will help the cause of USA ...... USA wants kiyani and pasha to leave .......... and i want kiyani and pasha to take some serious action rather than words

.
whatever they never responded well enough to Nato and americans tell me single time when did our armed forces saved our national integrity from US and NATO whenever they come they kill pakistani people some time they send their operatives like davis and drones and helis and still no action for last 6 years
