Maybe discuss the real issue on hand instead of going after dual nationals. Don’t allow dual nationals to hold government jobs, impose heavy fines on MNA/MPs who hold dual nationalities. Pakistan doesn’t need new rules to prosper , it needs someone who can impose the existing rules. Banning dual nationals and this debate is a distraction tool. Instead of fixing the issue , Pakistani love playing blame games. Majority of the dual nationals are loyal who are able to provide unique prospective to the country if they are utilized properly.

It will not be a good for Pakistan. There are reasons for 2nd passport, it provide them easy access to explore world for education, business and better jobs. It turns them more innovative and open to good business/system ideas as they experienced in other countries.
For politics, there should be restrictions as we already have a bad experience.
If Pakistanis work hard for better ranking of our passport, IMO, most people will not strive for second passport.

This will never happen has GOP solely relies on foreign remittances, this will be the last thing on their minds.

Should Pakistan scrap the dual nationality laws,
So people are loyal to Pakistan only.

Look at China, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. They do not allow dual nationality laws.
And do you think that the criminals Pakistanis in Pakistan who rape Pakistani women are more loyale to Pakistan ?

Yes.

Makes administrative tasks easier.

The sophisticated lawmaking required for dual nationality is outdated and nor have the lawmakers any credibility or competency to tackle such an evolutionary process.

Frankly, dual nationality should never be allowed. Either you are belonging to one country or other.

In my country, we have had so many prior generations from all over Asia, Oman, India, Pakistan etc. Noone have their country of grand parents citizenship. Our laws here are clear - if you want to be part of this country and be a citizen, you belong here.

It is a fair ask for loyalty to the country, its people, flag and consitution.

In an ideal world, I would agree with you. If you look at China or Saudi Arabia you have to be loyal to the country first.

But dual nationality has its benefits too, its good for outcompeting your rivals and for education purposes.

But as Pakistan comes of age, soon the time will come to get rid of dual nationality.

Our foreign policy needs to be rexamined. We have had a huge brain drain in the last twenty years.

World boundaries keep on changing. Pakistan was not there before 1947.
My few family members got British citizenship as they were born before August 1947...

My daughter has got three nationalities, Pakistani, USA, British and also UAE card.
