If it is a good thing, why is Turkey itself abolishing it?

Alot of views about conscription are, that it degrades the quality of the army/troops

Conscripts dont make good soldiers... alot of them being forced into it...

It may suit a country like israel.. with its tiny population and threat prescription but not Pakistan or even Turkey..

I mean, there is a good reason why bot a single developed country or even a semi insdustrialised country has conscription today.
