~2015 with all devlievers of initial 126 having to be completed by 2021. The follow on 74 will be delivered after this period.

We will make this bird put in service as quick as we could, first squadron maybe at 2014. When it comepares with F16BLK52, I would say, J-16 will prevail. No offend, cause we are ally, you will know in the future in the excericise we hold together. Indian will feel nervous if PAF get J16 AND J10b,especially J16. I have to say Indian MKI is very sharp weapon, so much so PLA pilots give very high compliment to Su 30MKK2. That's why we design J-16 with our own engines and AESA radar. If you just stand on the defensive point of view, F-16BLK52 is more than enough. But if you want to pose threat on your enemy, J-16 is a neccassary. Before J-20 ARRIVES in PAF, J-16 might be a good choice. The only problem PAF face is limited budget, hope China will soft loan to make it easier.

Pakistan will have NOTHING else than F-16s,JF-17s & J-10B well around 2020.

The contract is expected to be signed by mar or april 2013 n the first batch of 18 Rafales is to be delivered in the first 36 months as per the contract i.e. 2016.
Thereafter, we'll start making them from CKDs to complete manufacting in India, some 18-20 planes every year i guess

By 2015 we'll be having atleast 200+ SU MKIs along with 42 Super Sukhois whereas Pak has not even signed the 36 J-10B deal n J-16 is nothing more than a PDF rumour currently...

N not to forget we'll start receiving the first batch of 18 Rafales by 2015-16

well as you know JF-17 already been inducted in PAF, J-10B is going to be mature by 2014, with J-16s indian airpower edge can be countered by PAF, at any given time its just the matter of time , if any given situation against iran in this region, the inductation of these birds will going to be more faster thn even its predicted now!

Stop dreaming on, the world lives on cash and that is the only thing that matters. Many of us wonder how we ended up in our current predicament with the US, considering so many nations have maintained a relatively balanced relationship with them. I think we don't need to look past how some Pakistani members react to a potential handout by other nations to understand. So many posts, based merely on the assumption that China, might as well as be god, is going to gift us their latest tech for free because we have some special friendship. We may have common interest, but they have their own citizens to answer to. Why do so many Pakistanis assume, the sole reason for China's existence is to bankroll our air force or navy or basic infrastructure?
These are the same people who'll cry foul if the Chinese move away from Pakistan and in a different direction if/when their interests require it. Better to keep geopolitics and economics in context, even when dreaming for a better Pakistan.
