Should India try to broker peace between Israel and Iran?

There is no whatsoever dispute between Israel and Iran, this conflict is based solely on mullah crazy ideology. U cant negotiate ideology.

What about crazy ideology of Natenyahu? He seems bent on doing everything he can to oppose Palestinian statehood. And has, in a spectacular display of hypocrisy, threatened to bomb Iran for developing nukes while having decent sized stockpile at home. What about the crazy Natenyahu ideology which is so adamant in denying peace that he went all the way to US Congress to pressurize Obama into aborting this deal.

Iranians are a great nation and Israel has done everything in its power to postpone its rise. You're acclimated to having US stooges around you in the form of Mubarak, Sisi, Salman bin Abdulaziz etc. Now you will see how viciously a truly powerful and independent nation protects it's interests.

Actually Israel greatly helped Iran during its hardest times in war with Iraq.

As we all know that both Israel and Iran are our great friends. But, there is no love lost between these two middle eastern nations. While Israel is our major defence equipment supplier, a major chunk of our crude and natural gas comes from Iran. Now the problem is that both of these nations are at the verge of war with each other which will not only be disastrous for these two nation but also will affect India adversely.

I have never understood what grudge Iranians hold against the Israelis. is it the palestine issue? if it is so then why would Iranians care? only sunni muslim nations are preoccupied with this issue. Iran is a progressive Shia nation are not like arab fanatics. If it is something else please post. @The Last of us @500

Back to the topic, I think that India should endeavor to broker peace between Israel and Iran.

We have bigger problems at home

It's not going to achieve anything.
Maybe India can try that with Arab countries and Israel, they are much closer to each other and have secret relations already.

India is not that country.... We as a "Qoum" lack international initiatives in diplomacy unless our own interests are at stake. India will spend all it's diplomatic capital to ensure good relations with each of them individually but our cadre is not calibrated to make amends between to rival factions.Unfortunately we are not those guys.

India will spend all it's diplomatic capital to ensure good relations with each of them individually but our cadre is not calibrated to make amends between to rival factions.Unfortunately we are not those guys.

like I said, i cant fault such thinking. its out of the box and bold initiative and a lot of hassle and pain with a low success rate with a risk of straining relations with both but then there are rewards as well immediate and long term in terms of stature, economic and more. such move in single stroke will make the Arab oil blackmailers irrelevant or toothless to the world.

No, the reason you got suicide bombers and rockets on your cities is because you have oppressed Palestinians to the point where they had to resort to such means to keep surviving. These rockets are but acts of resistance of a nation pushed into a corner by your disproportionate use of force read brutality.

From my own experience from school times, any one who try to resolve disputes between two gangs gets badly beaten by both sides!!
