Can you read maps? See mate CPEC is child of OBOR and OBOR already connects China to Kazakhstan through Urumqi and China to Tajikistan through Kashgar which itself is connected to Gawadar through CPEC. Sure Afghanistan is a favorable route for CAR to access Gawadar if Afghanistan is stable? But Pakistan isn't cutoff from CAR through land unlike India which has to bypass Pakistan if it isn't part of CPEC.

And secondly you are overestimating India's role in Afghanistan. If Pakistan genuinely thought India had the capacity to bring peace and stability to Afghanistan, it would've engaged India positively. India's presence there and instability in Afghanistan are mutually dependent.

Very cool, if you think CAR will access Gawadar through kashgar, then you need to learn economics. Why would you like to go to Kazakhstan via pakistan and China, it's longer route plus, unstable from security point of view plus you need to gain altitude and pass through one of the highest mountain ranges of the world thus increasing time, costof travel and insurance. Why won't you take route from chabahar to Iran and then north towards CAR region.
If Afg. Decide to choke pakistan. .. it gonna be really expensive, the way Afg. Refugees r pushed and treated these days and sealing of borders by pakistan to teach afg. Govt a lesson and choking Afg. With supplies every now n then will surely backfire.
A man is as faithful as it's options. Rite now Afg. Is not hving options, India will just provide them one. rest self-respect of Afghanistan will do the trick.

So Indian politicians will not be interested until 5 years later.

They think they just need to get more weapons to keep advantage.
They don't know CPEC is the lethal one.

Why we need cpec? We are better connected to China than Cpec.Even we have bus service to China.Only Rs1000 Bus available to visit China.This road can be enhanced to trade route.
