This doesn't look good and it upsets those who have lost people in an attack such as APS because this idiot was applauding it.
i know i doesn't look good but it is a necessary evil to make these vile creatures feel comfortable so they put their guard down and surrender.

Giving him interviews and airtime wasn't necessary it was wrong on moral levels

It is a war on the media front too. Why not use it to our advantage? You better believe it or not sadly there exist a market of viewers too.

There are murderers who go to police station after killing somebody and confess about their crime. The police does not release them just because they surrender themselves to the police?

The law should take its course regardless of how he got arrested with some leniency shown for his intentions to surrender. Life imprisonment is mininum in his case

i agree with you a kulbashan yadhav type interview conducted by army media cell would have been enough. geo crossed its limits once again.

If Ehsanullah gets the loose then that will be a perversion to justice.

It was a smart move imo because indians think that only geo, dawn and ET are the most credible media houses in Pakistan (because these 3 are anti army) and this time they won't be able to complain about cuts in the video too.

Which media supports the Army?

My Elders watch that. Geo has very immature coverage
Geo is like the DailyMail of Pakistan. However let's get to the topic. There's an interview about Ehsanullah Ehsan on the media, and now Pakistanis are discussing whether we should go easy on him. Hell naw! Like, I'd be interesting to see you tell the families of the victims of Lahore attack or APS attack that we're letting scum like that get lighter sentences just because they gave a confessional video and looked good in it, so that we can try to go after our rival, even though it has happened in history before without that rival getting punished. Let's try explaining that to the families. Some of my brothers and sisters may have forgotten that, but most of us, including me, will remember what those f*ckers did to the children and the civilians.
When 9/11 occurred, the Americans made a vow among themselves: that they will never forget. We need to do the same. We need to remember forever what they are capable of doing, and that people like Ehsan don't just have conscience returned to themselves all of a sudden.

If you break the law, then you must face the consequences. Why is 'yay' even an option?
