Correction, 80% of the ones that participated in the referendum, which was actually less than half of the voters. Recent surveys say that 60% of catalans oppose independence.

But anyway, if a majority want it, yes, they should have it.

Never gonna happen, no sovereign country would simply allow itself to be broken. If people try to act tough then they will just get boots up their @$$ by the Spanish government.

The Catalans certainly can't complain of discrimination or oppression. If anything, the ones that are discriminated against are the non Catalans. If a shop dares to display a name in Spanish only, it gets fined and have to add a name in Catalan or it gets shutdown.
