Shooting down of Indian MiGs In Kargil

Do I need to remind you of the Atlantique incident kid?

And don't tell us about who makes excuses. In 2008, Indian jet entered Pakistani territory and then went back, so much for PAF's air defence. Some imbeciles in PAF earlier claimed it was an intentional incursion, later Zardari went or record saying tat it was a technical fault. So we know the level to which PAF brainwashes kids like you. Keep your fantasies to yourself. Ask your PAF to protect you from drone strikes before coming here and chest thumping like an idiot.
Listen big man, the Atlantique incident happened when there were no hostilities, you feel brave about shooting down an unarmed airliner, under the circumstances, the same treatment could have been meted to your Choppers and that too more than once as for your 2008 adventure, well those happen from both sides but since you live in oblivion , here read and enlighten yourself.

What utter nonsense, cherry picking at best, for it's the same Nawas Sharif who claims he wasn't aware of any operations yet he can quote the causality figures, the then army chief wasn't even aware what Nawas was up to until he asked Musharraf to meet him at the airport. ....Army chief at the time was with some commanders in Murree, Pakistan didn't lose Kargil because of India rather due to the cowardice of NS.....and if you want to believe what your media said then the same sources tell you that several Kargil peaks are still under Pakistani control. I can post them to your hearts content but that's a different subject altogether.

Hardly cherry picking..Pakistan had captured about 140 peaks before operation Vijay began, today it holds one peak, which btw was never occupied Indian troops in the first place..extent of your defeat is clearly visible from results on the ground

And if you were in such a strong position militarily, why was your leadership(including military) running from pillar to post , asking for Saudi, Chinese, Americans to bail you out of a war that you started.

As far NS is concerned,Even if he did not know about the operation(or rather extent of it) in the beginning, he would have certainly made it point find about its details, after all he was your prime minister btw he gave the above interview in 2003, why is surprising that he found out details of your losses in four years.

He is your third time prime minister, clearly your nation believes his lies more than those of your dictator, who is facing multiple criminal prosecutions.

Your army claims on casualties were more less hilarious, for the fact, that for nearly a decade it did not even accept that Pakistan army was involved in Kargil.

You are the one who is trying to feel brave here by starting this thread kid. You started this thread just to feel secure over Kargil war which was a proven failure. Even your ex army men have admitted to that over the years. You army refused to accept their dead. Your PM admitted that 4000 soldiers died in that war. And 15 years later, you start a thread over two migs? Be my guest, if it makes you feel brave. Inform me if this thread manages to bring back any of those 4000 from the dead.

Actually it holds four peaks now so it also bursts any bubbles about India managing to vacate and reoccupy all it's land mass. In 2003, NS was out of office thus had a grudge against Musharraf and the army...... wonder why they are now apologising about their remarks..... in any case, You seem a reasonable person, let me ask you a question, almost all the fighting took place on the Indian side of the border hence it's safe to assume that all the casualties would have also happened there.... if one was to believe this ridiculous figure, do you honestly believe that under the prevailing conditions, Pakistan was able to recover and retrieve some 4000 bodies.... or did Indian forces bury so many bodies.....get a life....there are Kargil whistle blowers amongst your top ranks, what do you have to say about disclosures made by the likes of Lt Gen Kishan Pal. ???? but as i said that's been discussed to the bone, the subject is taking the cover off the shooting down of MiGs.

The subject at hand is the shooting down of indian MIGs by Pakistan , lets stick to that

Lagata hai apne inception movie kuch jayada he dekh le hai. Dream inside a dream.

What happened to him?

Sqd Ldr Bundela ejected from a MiG-21 and suffered multiple fractures to his spine , it possible that he was unfit and had back problems which increase the chance of compression fracture during ejection. The accident left him paralysed neck down and after being in this state for for many months in hospital he died

Im really proud that an average Indian youth knows more about ISRO ... MARS..THORIUM...CRYO..BIOTECH...AGNI 5 .. GSLV 3 and KALAM ..

Thats the victory India has achived in the past 25 years.... Can any Pakistani member see that ?

If yes. How do u continue to masturbate with true or not.. History **** as 2 decades have been lost by pakistan... Is this defeat less than any other ?

Blame it on Govt... USA... Blah Blah..... BUT THE RELITY IS : ITS YOU AND YOU ALONE !

DONT ACCEPT AND A THIRD DECADE PASSES BY....

WHILE INDIA REACHES MARS... YOU GUYS REMAIN STUCK WITH 1999 1971 1965...

GOD BLESS PAKISTAN!

Excellent and befitting reply.

There are lots of "possibilities" when Air Crashes happen in your Country. Want me to mention them?
Pl put a reference showing he was unfit.

No it is point 5353, which is an actual peak, rest are surrounding ridges near the point 5353 namely Bunker Ridge, Saddle Ridge, Dalu Nag. As you might know a ridge is an elevated crest, at the base of the mountain..holds no strategic significance in itself.

As per a Pakistani general(on one of your talk shows)..Indian shelling was so intense, the 155mm air burst artillery would simply blow the heads off Pakistani soldier(any one not hiding in sangars).

Indian were also carrying out aerial bombardment simultaneously..and as you might there is not much left to bury after 2000 pound bomb is dropped on ur head.

As far I am concerned, I have far more faith in casualty figures quoted by US department of state of 700+ Pakistani soldiers killed...against 527 Indian casualties, Indian army itself estimates around 1042 Pakistani soldiers.

The fact is there is discrepancy amongst Pakistani claims, it hard to believe anything coming out Pakistan regarding Kargil.
Let me give an example.

Musharraf claimed Pakistan suffered 297 casualties against 1500 Indian in an interview.
Later he claimed 357 troops were killed with a further 665 wounded in his memoirs.

Pakistan army quoted a figure of 457 casualties on its website.

NS claimed 4000 Pakistani casualties(army + Muj) in an interview in 2003.
In 2007, he claimed Pakistani army casualties to be 2700.
A white paper released by PMLN calimed more than 3000 dead.

PPP claimed thousands of Pakistani soldiers and MUj died in Kargil.

You tell me, whom should we believe?

Do you actually understand, what Lt Gen Kishan Pal said, if yes, please explain to me what you understood from his statement?.

As far the topic is concerned, there are no discrepancies in Indian, Indians agree that a Mig 21 was shot down by a Pakistani MANPAD, while it was providing top cover to MiG 27 which had crashed into Pakistani territory due engine flame out...other that that a Mi17 was also shot down on the Pakistani Manpad the next day.
