Whether people agree with the rules or not is a different matter, however, the fact remains that everyone women in Iran is required to cover their hair. Regardless of whether they're foreigner or not. If one does not like the rule than don't go to Iran, simple as that. You're not going to see them turn off their rules for sports events etc.

Dear friend...I complete agree with you...It is your r ule and your nation...That is the reason, she backed out from do competition. It is a different thing that you make a rule for your nation and even for foreigners too...But even in sports, that is quite unusual at least for me. In India, we do not ask someone to wear as per our custom if someone plays sports.

I mean think about a situation, support Iran host a mega event like Asiad or Olympic in future, how it will treat its guest sports women persons? Forcing them to wear Hizab or not participate in competition?

It is an international tournament and by definition, you are inviting foreign participants to this tournament and forcing them to wear something that they don't want to wear.

It does not matter if it is a sports event or not. Just because it's a sport event it does not mean their religious code will of a sudden change. If they would just arbitrary change their rules, then people in general would be much less likely to follow it.

You sound childish. One should have the common sense to understand that religious teachings are scared to such people. They will not abdomen them just because there is a sports event.

Iran practises Hijab for all women. It does not matter if they're foreigners. Even if you don't agree with the rule, so what? All nations have various rules. One has to be respectful to the rules. These people are acting as if covering their hair will kill them or convert them to Islam.

What does that have to do with what I said? did I said Iranian women like the rule? A rule is someone that one follows regardless of personal desires. I don't agree with many rules, but I still follow them where I have to.

Why are the rules enforced on foreigners?

Because whether they're foreigners or not it does not change the religious beliefs implemented in Iran, does it? Whether you're born in Iran or not, whether you're Muslim or not, it does not matter to them. As far they're concerned, a women should cover up. You can disagree with it, but that's their rules. They certainly won't deactivate it over some sports events.
