The same Indians who were supporting French on burqa ban against Muslims in France are now bitching about Iran's rule of Hijab for all women, because it affects "one" Indian's ability to participate in a "sport".
Would India allow foreign sportsman visiting India to slaughter cows or consume beef in public places?

You people have no principals or values, your stance changes with "who" is enforcing the rule and who is "affected".

Does that mean cow slaughter and beef consumption does not apply to foreigners visiting india?

This law should not be implemented on foreigners or outsiders

There is a big difference between what happens in France and Iran. In Iran Hijab is seen as an important part of their religion which is why women are asked to wear it. However, what excuse does France have to ban the Burqa? Is it against their state religion that Burqa worn? No, they ban it for security reasons etc. From the Iranian perspective, the Hijab law is associated with their holy texts, they will not just abandon it. Once again, you and I may disagree with their interpretation of the Quran etc, but from their point of view, that is the will of god.

Whatever you say, at the end of the day this incident reflects badly on Iran.

Nobody is complaining. We agree "Your Country, Your Rules" Yes we may not agree with the rules and then like Heena sidhu decide NOT to go there.

then you did not read my next replies, Read below. i am all fine with any countries rule or law except some absurd or odd rules be it france or iran i will criricise both. i ave never in my life shown religious bias tin favor or against any religion, not even my own religion

Both France and Iran though are fair to a point that its there country there rules, but its not common to force outsiders too both must understand this

why so much whining by bhartis, you are part of Asian shooting organization or whatever, where were your officials when they awarded this event to Iran? Why didnt you opposed then?

Anyways i am against this, i think all sports events should stay away from countries that are extremists like France and Iran.. If not then all world should make discriminatory laws for these two nations and ask them to wear according to local culture wherever they go..

You're talking as if this I am the one in charge of changing rules in Iran. Whether people agree with the rules or not is a different matter, however, the fact remains that everyone women in Iran is required to cover their hair. Regardless of whether they're foreigner or not. If one does not like the rule than don't go to Iran, simple as that. You're not going to see them turn off their rules for sports events etc.

Dont take it the wrong way but asking this question as i really dont know. Why are women required to cover their hairs ? I mean there has a to be some explanation for that i am sure.
