As far as I am concenred there is nothing wrong with hinduism ... we just tend to be over defensive towards silly things. No matter how much any one criticize our deities our faith in them is so strong that nothing will make us deviate from worshiping them.

the only reason I think our lords took human form is because no human is perfect and they are fallible. we can criticize their human avatar. but the holy trinity and the oneness of God can't be argued with or denied by anyone.

Hinduism as an organized religion is possibly the least philanthropic among major religions and has the least sense of community. These are the most important positive effects that religion has in a society are both are sadly missing in Hinduism.
