The condition of all the three jawans is said to be out of danger.

NEW DELHI: Three jawans of the Indian Army were injured during a practice drill ahead of the Army Day on January 15 in the national capital.

The jawans were injured while they were descending from a helicopter with a rope which snapped - plumetting the jawans to the ground. While the jawans did receive injuries, they are reportedly out of danger and their condition is stable.

The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday. The Army has ordered an inquiry into the matter.

These ropes are made tough they shouldn't snap so easily..

Rather than snapping it may have come lose after not being attached properly.
Lucky for them that they were descending on some soft ground rather than say on hard surface of the parade venue.

The attachment got cracked.... indian defence forum has shared that info...

reminds me of sad demise of Brig TM during a free fall which was witnessed by Benazir.
hopefully these jawans recover

Poor inspection (if mount was cracked) or improper procedure (if overloaded by 3 soldiers all at once)
Human errors in both instances. They need to enforce procedure compliance more strictly considering how many incidence Indian Military has suffered recently

hope they dont blame this on Pakistan or ISI ...
may the injured recover quickly .
