Shia Waqf Board seeks sedition, waging war, attempt to murder charges against Tablighi Jamaat leader

Why do you think there is no sectarianism in India? A small town where I live has three mosques (belonging to different sects) who couldn't agree on the time to play Azaan and we hear three different Azaan 5 times a day.

My point was not about sectarianism - rather about the notion that some people have that Indian Muslims are some sort of sleeping asset that Pakistan could activate. I don't think that is true on the whole. There might be a few individuals, but that's it. I don't think there is an equivalent of the Pakistan movement, or even the Muslim conference; let alone elements willing to take up arms.

Did you know the different azaan times is actually not a sectarian issue? Yes different groups have different times they do azaan based on small differences in what time they consider the prayer time, but sometimes they actually plan different times to give people some flexibility so if they miss the ceongregation at one masjid, they can go to another. Another reason is the ego of mullahs, who want to have exclusive time on the mic.

In most Muslim countries the state locks down what time the azaan is. Unfortunately in the sub-continent, the mullah reigns supreme - as long as he limits his kingdom to the masjid.

These are Indian Muslims for you.. :disagree:
Some Indian Shia Muslim organizations & their leadership have acted like pieces of shite lately. When the CAB/NRC etc was being passed and debated, I believe it was the same organization and leadership that made statements calling for Indian Shia to be treated differently.

They’ve acted selfishly and reprehensibly instead of taking a unified stance supporting equality for all Muslims in India instead of just themselves.

Your ignorance is evident from ur posts, tablighi Jamaat dont follow arabs, rather they are followers of deoband but since ur a Sanghi, you see Islam as Arab.
@mods why this Sanghi is allowed to roam freely and use abusive language for muslims?

Good on Mods for banning another repeat blasphemer and hater.

Guys, keep reporting.

Yup there is no such thing as 'Wahabi'. Spent my whole life here I saw no one calling himself Wahabi. Only Ahle Sunnah. Only once I was stopped and asked by a Mutawa if I am Shia and I told him no I am Sunni he then told me to get a proper haircut. :D

Salafi are usually what people see in the West, they don't accept any traditional scholars of Ahlus Sunnah and have their own scholars. @Taimur Khurram Can tell you more.

Saudis have their own methodology, which also is different from mainstream Sunni Islam. It is referred by many as Wahhabism, but not by its practitioners.

Not really.
Anyone who doesn't pay regular visits to shrines is called a Wahhabi.
We deobandi Wahhabi actively discourage grave worship and the entire Shia and some other sects are based on that, hence we are hated.

Deobandis are Sunni Hanafis whose understanding of religion is based on scripture, Quran and Hadith, but they are very much mainstream. Many of them follow Sufism too. Maulana Maududi, Maulana Shabbir Usmani, Mufri Taqi Usmani, Dr. Israr Ahmad, and the rest of Islamic Pakistani intelligentsia are primary examples. They are mostly found among upper and middle classes of cities in Pakistan.

Hanafi Mazhab Asr is an hour later than other schools. 4 Sunni schools are accepted by all. Anyone may choose any they like. You are still on the right path.

You mean Ahle Hadis? Do people in the west don't follow any of the four imams?

Maulana Maududi
I don't think he was a deobandi

Dr. Israr Ahmad
He was not a Deobandi

. .
Just standard Sunnism, I've gotten into Sufi dhikr too.

That is very good brother. Please check out my teacher Dr. Israr Ahmad. His books and lectures are available in Urdu and English. He has many Urdu lectures on Youtube. You can visit the Tanzeem e Islami markaz if you come to Lahore.

He was not a Deobandi

Ahle Hadees began as a mainstream Sunni movement with Sufi influence as well, but recently they became more influenced by Saudis.

Both are Deobandis, their fikra came out of Dar ul Uloom. Although you can say that they are very different from current Deobandis of JUI/H.

. . .
Shia and Hindu RSS are allies, always knew this. And Pakistani Shias also are in bed with Hindu radicals given their bonhomie to attack Sunnis.
