Hi to all the Geeks and non - geeks.
I have a small question abt my Laptop.
bought it for 1300 Euros 3-4 yrs ago. but now when I use it the fan runs without break(esp when I watch online videos or play online games).. the bloody fan runs so fast Im scared my lapi will some day be changed to a `transformer` type helicopter and hit the celing coz of fan speed ...
the CPU usage is 80% or over when te fan runs.... I browsed many forums but NO satisfactory answer.
Pls help... why so ??
is it time to get a new lpatop?????????? bu hu hu ...

It's because your computer is running very hot. Since it's 3-4 years old, I'm assuming it's gonna' have a load of dust piled up inside of it. It's probably blocking the airflow which means your fan is struggling to keep up.

If your processor get's too hot, your PC will shut itself down but I'd suggest taking a hoover to your PC and vacuuming all the dust out.

yaaar .. I trid opening it.. but then i thought ...naah... cant risk it.. dont have money to buy a new one. U know recession and stuff + i m going to India on monday so wa saving up !!!

well There are some picture folders that i keep copying from the memory card and deleting afterwards... so for convenience I have put them on the desktop... besides there is only Firefox and some business software's that I use for work --- some photo editing software's for fun...

nothing else is install to be honest
