I'm from AJK so I'm not exactly dark. I know Biharis in Karachi and they are darker then us but not to dark. My friend is Ranghar from Haryana and he is light. All South Indians and Sri Lankans I know in UK are extremely dark.

Sri Lankans in general are darker than Indians and Pakistani's because they live in the tropics.... But that also depends on the Ethnicity.. Most of you guys from Britain, Europe and Canada are more likely to come across Sri Lankans of Tamil origin.. Because they are the largest diaspora out there, Except for Australia, Where Sinhalese and other communities out number.. Tamils are quite a bit darker than Sinhalese, Moors, Burghers or Malays.. Obviously due to their genetics.. But that's not to say all Tamils are dark either.. So people who have never set foot on the island tend to generalize the people

Fair skin is over rated in our society. For Europeans we are all dark skinned.

Just two days back one of south indian friends from Chennai currently in US called me n wants my presence on his marriage this year somewhere in may..
I had long due promise to arrange char dhaam yatra in my state to parents of same friend of Chennai.... His grandmother used to cook northindian pranthas for me during my engineering...
Two of my AP friends even complained to my mom with his tuti futi hindi for not able to make for their marriage this year.....
I am seriously feeling disheartened by your response....

bro i am from south , i have north indian friends , from bihar , punjab etc etc

i shared my room in hostel with a bihari , my team lead is from jharkhand
