What many people don't realize is, AQ Khan was kept in the limelight and made the centre of all attention by a clever scheme hatched by the ISI. The purpose was to keep all the limelight on AQ Khan, let him reap all the awards and keep the activities of PAEC a secret. All the Western Intelligence Agencies were focused on AQ Khan and his activities, while on the other hand the PAEC with guidance of Dr. Munir Khan and Dr. Samar were putting the final touches to Pakistan's Nuclear Program. Are you joking me? Have you ever heard of Khushab Nuclear Power Plant. 3 reactors are producing plutonium, 4th one is under construction and was designed completely indigenous. The facts are AQ Khan had a very small role to play in Pakistan's nuclear program. He was popped up to create distraction. Majority of the work was done by PAEC, after all AQ Khan is a metallurgist and not a nuclear physicist.

As far as the talent of these people are concerned, Pakistan has come a very long way with its nuclear program. Its the hard work of these people that is responsible for this.

pakistan is very famous for assemblying the parts of various imported stuff so it may not be surprise if they assembled those parts indigenously in pakistan

when denied civil nuclear technology, Pakistan had gone for the indigenously made reactors but it had no other choice but to knock the chinese door
