Indians will proudly notice and most certainly hail the fact that an Indian, third from left, is

If we are going to play this game ( ) then it should be noted that EVERY soldier to the lest and right of the soldier with the mine detector are contravening all established SOPs for advancing in mined/unknown territory. The SOPs state that in such situations you remain in a single, well dispersed, column with the point man deploying the mine detector and all troops behind following in the steps of the man in front.

Most of the pics posted are simple "exhibition" snaps and don't really demonstrate actual military capabilities- they are purely for the "show".

+ those two on the far left are certainly most at risk- advancing on unpaved ground whilst the nice smooth road sits to their side where any tamparing/mine laying would be immediately apparent.
