It has to be Submission with Understanding.. but the biggest issue is the misuse of Hadiath for political or personal purposes.
Again, that is only solved with study of the subject from both a spiritual and historical perspective.

But at some stage one has to let go of understanding even.

Higher states of spirituality are not achievable without doing so. Sufi maters test their disciples to see if they have learned to sacrifice belongings, relations, intellect, and self esteem (hardest of all). It is only then that the disciple is 'promoted' to higher realms and is thus able to achieve a closeness to Allah that puts them at a plane that is inaccessible otherwise.

At that stage most worries just disappear, including obsession with future etc...

I am not implying that I am there. In fact I am certainly not. I just know it having tried to tread the path, but failed to make necessary sacrifices at the apt time. My intellect is my barrier.
