@IndoCarib @Abingdonboy @Soumitra @SrNair @itachiii @Echo_419 Must watch ,if you have time, rips apart congress left and all other comies like never before

A very credible and substantial speech indeed. Initially, I was also a bit apprehensive about the land acquisition bill. However, after searching for it, I cam across an embedded link on PDF itself (oh the irony :D). Good read. I think the farmers are compensated well enough, although this will be a problem for food production in the future. We might lose arable land.

True

The government needs to communicate better to farmers and it's allies though, this bill has to go through no matter what. Pushing it back or even diluting it's provisions will send a wrong message.
All who oppose the bill, like jaitley explained, are hypocrites opposing it just for the sake of opposing

when jaitley begins to speak , the opposition has to shut up. Its well known that congies envy him , off record statements were made by them that this guy has taken parliamentary debating to a new level.
Indeed, hope he delivers a grand budget :D

Like he said - "if you keep turning left there would be nothing left" lol

Seriously, what on earth are you talking about:what:!!I mean a few days back you were openly supporting the Bengal Govt. and AAP in Delhi and was criticizing the BJP for literally everything and now all of a sudden you have taken a pro-Govt. stand out of nowhereo_O.I am really confused about your political affiliation right now:undecided:.

.
There are lands available at the remote places not used for the farming, those land can be utilize by the government, Let their be the enactment in which the State which are ready to be included, hence the congress states who are interested in land acquisition but intentionally not support can face the problem moreover need to use remote places not used for the farming.

.
I have a lot of land and I have genuine concerns. Gov. never pays the right market value for any Land Acquisition. We have not been reimbursed yet for last acquisition. I hope this bill will not be unfair and has provisions to entertain grievances from all short of farmers.

If we do it effectively then we can do it,also the pros outweigh the cons we do need to become a Industrialized country
& did you read the Rail budget this Anti-NE Govt(Cong words not mine) has awarded the lion's share of the Budget to NE for Rail development :enjoy::enjoy:

Did you know Congress owns more land than all political parties in India?!? For 130 yrs, it has been able to buy and receive land for yrs. Now Congress has determined it is imperative to place this land in trusts to prevent their own workers from selling it off!

In Gujurat, Mmodi has made sure that owners are well compensated for land acquistion. If I remember correctly, it was usually 3 x over the value of such land. If I culd get 3 x the price, I would sell my property.

People have been misled far too long in India. After 50 yrs, we still have illiteracy. I guess that is the BJP's fault! Right.....

I have a lot of land and I have genuine concerns. Gov. never pays the right market value for any Land Acquisition. We have not been reimbursed yet for last acquisition. I hope this bill will not be unfair and has provisions to entertain grievances from all short of farmers.

Congress was trying to get land for dirt cheap. Modi in Gujurat was paying 3 x the value!

I am all in for this land bill .....if its deal with taking land for roads , hospitals , ports , airports , schools etc...........take land away without asking and dont let farmers to go to court to delay these projects.

I am against people like vadra using this bill to take away land , and farmers like me cant even go to court against it..........surely people like him will be building falts and townships to gain profit .............at the cost of farmers .....there shall be a provision in bill to retrict forcefull taking away land only to particular purposes like defence or infrastructure .............and not for private peoples building flats.

and what about people who rent land to do farming??? like in my villages about 10% of population lease land from panchyat and other people every year for farming.............people like those will be on road for no reason.............compensation shall be awarded to them too
