Several Mosques Attacked in France Overnight, No Casualties

PARIS: Mosques in two French towns were fired upon overnight, leaving no casualties, prosecutors said on Thursday.

Three blank grenades were thrown at a mosque shortly after midnight in the city of Le Mans, west of Paris. A bullet hole was also found in a window of the mosque.

In the Port-la-Nouvelle district near Narbonne in southern France, several shots were fired in the direction of a Muslim prayer hall shortly after evening prayers. The hall was empty, the local prosecutor said.

An explosion at a kebab shop near a mosque in the eastern French town of Villefranche-sur-Saone on Thursday morning also left no casualties. Local prosecutors have described it as a "criminal act".

France is on edge following the deadly assault by heavily armed gunmen on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday that left 12 dead. No link has yet been established between the attacks.

Please. Its time to get out of this 'terrorists have no religion'. Terrorists belong to religions. They interpret them, as per their school of thought. If the rest of the people, keep saying, they are not true believers, its hiding. Its unconciously supporting them.

If they are not corrected by their own, they will be massacred by the rest and there will be collateral damage. That's history.

What if the french no longer care?The way this is going..they won't after a little more of this.What do you think will happen after right wing comes to power?You think police will care abt complaints ?Or give any protection like now?Police take orders from high up-the people who pay their salaries..their attitude reflects govt's position.Once right wing comes to power it will be open season after any attack.Police will act as spectators.Right now blood is flowing one way,that will change.Its really a critical juncture now.All parties must act now,before its too late.

10% of the population in France is Muslim and that number is rising through conversion and migration and due to colonization. So why should these citizens feel ashamed, they were born in France and have every legal obligation to demand changes.
