Setting up facility : Medipak, China Sun to sign accord

KARACHI: Hunan China Sun Pharmaceutical Company Limited will set up a state of the art Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) compliant facility for the manufacturing of Intravenous (IV) infusion solutions by Medipak Limited.
The agreement will be inked on turnkey basis with the possibility of joint venture investment with Hunan China Sun Pharmaceutical Company Limited on May 30, 2013.
Chairman of Medipak Group of Companies Dr Khalid Chowdhry said the recent visit of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang to Pakistan has not only cemented ties of friendship between the two nations but has also acted as a catalyst to enhance business cooperation across all sectors.
The introduction of the modern and cost effective Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM) technology in Pakistan is a testament to the great friendship between Pakistan and China and will lay the foundation to further cooperation between the companies of the two countries in the future.
