Not really as far as we are concerned. The same old rhetoric about "punitive action" - nothing materializes. The only war-room is the studio @ Times Now which has been predicting Pakistan would be "taught a lesson" and "Pakistan will collapse" and "56 inch chest" this and that for God knows how many years.

There are other threads opened up on this subject. About 4+ hours ago, the PAF went onto the Pakistani version of the Defense Readiness Condition - 2 (as known as the DEFCON-2, similar to the US DEFCON system, but Pakistan just has it for conventional war). Level 2 means war is imminent and level 1 means you are in an active war. So this whole thing about Indians can't do anything, isn't accurate. There has been constant large scale SU-30, M2k and Jaguar (strike) movements very close to borders, plus heavy artillery is being used (by Indian IBG's meaning strike corps).

So, the point is, never underestimate your enemy!! And never sound jingoistic about the possibility of a war. It can hurt millions of innocent and poor people on each side!!

We are ready and waiting for words to be turned to actions.

As now well documented, after the Mumbai terror attack, India through it's friends in the U.S. asked for 'permission' to bomb a few empty buildings in Pakistan to show it's people how mighty it was.Aparantly Zardari was dumb enough to think about it but Kiyani warned him that they'd both get lynched if they allowed anything like this which he didn't realy fancy. Perhaps Pakistani 'permission' is pending again.

So you wont blame your country's army and policy to differentiate good and bad terrorists, despite knowing that they harbour good terrorists in India, But if our media castigates that maneuver you go gaga over that... If not hypocricy, what else???

Secondly, No Indian media said about initiating a war, they only said about surgical strikes in terrorist camps which are burgeoning inside P*K; If you cant kill Good terrorists which are bad terrorists for us, let us handle them... But no!!! which directly means that your army (NOT your government) is providing sanctury to those terrorists.

Finally, I am amazed at pakistani posters' posts and comments on war viz. "ek bar wo strikes kare, khatam hum karenge", "yaha bum marenge, yaha delhi pe kabja karenge", "Warna nuclear maar denge". Have you lost your sanity guys??? you think you can kill a country with 1250 million people by just blinking eyes, the country which has 7 times your population, 10 times your economy, world's largest middle class, having 3rd largest army, having one of the most potent navies of the world, far superior in technology, arms, also a nuclear country;; compared to the (only) country in Asia where poverty is increasing, which is enumerated every year in lists of failed states, dangerous place!!!

You guys are too far from reality, which is very unfortunate for your country.
