Serbia & Turkey signs military cooperation deal
The bilateral military cooperation plan for 2011 has been signed by representatives of the Serbian and Turkish Defense Ministries in Ankara on last Tuesday. This was confirmed by the website of the Serbian Defense Ministry.
The defense cooperation established with Turkey is vastly developed and continuously promoted, and the major areas are joint exercises of special forces units, military-economic cooperation, training and education, stated the Serbian ministry.
The Head of the Directorate for International Military Cooperation Milorad Peric and Chief of Turkish General Staff Strategy Department Major General Tahir Bekiroglu have signed this plan yesterday.
