Yes, our agencies are run by politicians and not the army like in your country

However , the courts are independent of the politicians. Which is why the politicians are scared of the Judiciary. Same as the Media (which however is more susceptible to pressure)

Only thing the agencies can do is slander and file charges, the courts will delivery 10 times out of 10, Especially in such high profile cases.
