actually yes we did had some level of independence, lets admit we have ALWAYS bent over to IMF but lets just say this time we are kissing the ground rather than staying till knees.

Sir G, we have to do some analysis that what was in the amendment bills of SBoP in 1994, 1997, 2012 & 2015 and to compare it with 2022 to judge when we were on knees or kissing the grounds. IMO beggers could not ask for respect.
Further, you could go thru the BBC report to judge, what happened in the upper house known as the senate. Very interesting count of opposition and government votes.
