Well in that case, do the ambassadors act as ambassadors or viceroys? I am not justifying the killing but just as an analysis, Stevens was the CEO for the French-American invasion of oil rich, freedom loving Libya. The atrocities/ tortures and eventual killing of the great Libyan patriot Qaddafi, would have been sanctioned by Stevens.
