Security forces seize arms, ammunition in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers and police recovered a large amount of arms and ammunition and arrested three weapon dealers from Razia Society on Monday.

Rangers’ officials said that during the operation, the security personnel captured three weapon dealers – Azam Abbas, Amir Abbas and Asif – in the light of arrested accused’s information.

Police further recovered one G3-rifle, four SMGs, two 7MM rifles, five 12-bore pistols, one M4 rifle, one 22-rifle, one 22-pistol, six 9MM pistols, four 30-bore pistols, one 38-bore pistol, and different types of 2159 rounds.

Further investigation was under way.
