Security forces recover cache of explosive material
Web Desk On Oct 22, 2020 Last updated Oct 22, 2020

QUETTA: Security forces claimed on Thursday to have thwarted a major terror bid by seizing a cache of explosive material during a raid in Balochistan’s Zhob district.

According to details, the raid was conducted in the Qamaruddin Karez area of the district.

The seized explosives include eight bombs weighing six to eight kilogrammes, a bag full of material used to make improvised explosive devices (IEDs), remote control, detonators, ball bearings, and wires.
Security sources say proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) desired to use the explosives in terror activities in Quetta and Zhob. All the explosive material is believed to have been brought into the country from Afghanistan.

On October 15, six Pakistan Army personnel, including Captain Umar Farooq, had embraced martyrdom in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in the Razmak subdivision of North Waziristan district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to the ISPR, the attack in Razmak claimed the lives of six army personnel including 24-year-old Captain Umar Farooq.

India has been successful of the amount of damage (terrorist attacks) they have committed inside Pakistan for almost 20 years. Pakistan has never responded appropriatly and I doubt they ever will. The Indian security establishment will continue its terror matta attacks. The most Pakistan is able to do is condemn the barbaric indian atrocities, have a few discussions on media channels and Paks top brass hold meetings. Nothing g is ever done until the very next deadly assault. The cycle will continue and poor Pakistanis will continue to pay a heavy price.

Someone should make PM Khan aware of this as well who continues to have a soft corner for Afghans and keeps on opening our borders to these haram khors making Pakistan insecure in the process.

That's the big issue is unless we don't respond in kind and increase the cost for them they will continue with their dirty deeds. Imagine how much it will be costing India to train and arm the rag tag terrorist and how much we have to spend to keep on catching them until one slips through the net and makes the headline. Indian cost is in millions and damage to our country is running in billions there have to be a balance approach. Why can't we aid and support their fault lines what's stopping us other then our own incompetence.

There seems to be no will to fight india at their own game. We raise the slogan of khalistan but nothing is done to support the Sikh separatists. However india is very active in funding militias across Balochestan via Afghanistan.
