Security forces raid hotels in North Waziristan, kill 6 suspected militants

Good job by security forces! Kill each and every one of them.

These types of raids should be more frequent, terrorists should not be allowed time to even breath.

call me a cynic and less enthusiastic about these claims but I have a reason to rubbish the claims of ISPR.

over a decade there is a pattern here.. whenever Militants make a big score which results in numerous deaths and loss of military hardware, shortly there is a claim of an army raid which settles the score
entirely possible, there is always a probability that army had a plan in place already to raid somewhere just before the terrorists struck.

but when repeatedly such claims are made right after a gory attack on the military then one wonders if the ISPR is trying to sell it to the public or its own soldiers? when the terrorists strike, their proof of their carnage is very bloody, gory and shocking, soldiers are executed on videos and there is millions dollar worth of military hardware burnt to dust and what we have for ISPR claims? some recycled footage of tirbal badlands covered in dust and smoke or some pictures of soldiers that have been used since the operation in Sawat.

we dont need to go and look into old archive, just start building up the reports from this time forward and you will see these claims are copy pasted after terrorists score some kills. why the wait? why such successful operations have to be reactive?

these people have so low opinion of us and think we are stupid? what does that smoking picture mean? fck all .. where is the wreck of the explosive leaden vehicles? where are the corpses? some white smoke coming out of the tree and we believe another triumph?

the reality is, politicians are begging taliban to go easy on the army and general public, just target shias and keeping all the focus on NATO and drones who so far are the only ones having killed some top Terrorist butchers that have killed countless Pakistani soldiers and civilians.

the operation doesnt need to be in North waziristan, it needs to be in Punjab, in Gujrat, Jhang and southern Punjab where the madrassahs are churning out takfiri jihadists to fight their war across the globe.

A Pakistani ret. officer said as usual a good point that its better to launch a full scale attack than to loose more soldiers due to attrition. He also quoted a good example.

for benefit of my Indian members

this is a news clip of our daily paper which states

Suicide attack on soldiers offering prayers in Miramshah, 5 martyred 33 injured
attacker rammed explosive leaden truck at the checkpost which destroyed the mosque as well..

then there is a picture of Jamat Islami leader who recently declared all terrorists killed at the hands of Americans as Martyrs...

the comment states "TTP attacked a mosque, and killer praying soldiers. what about a fatwa on that one?"

Safdar Dawar who is the president of Tribal Union of Journalists, FATA Pakistan & belongs to North Waziristan Agency is also reporting massive civilian casualties:
@Aeronaut @Armstrong @Spring Onion @Donatello @KRAIT
VOA Deewa reporting it now.
Safdar Dawar was awarded the prestigious FES award from Germany:
What if the Pakistani govt. is LYING?

Less said about him is better.
and Fyi TUJ president-ship is bought not fought.

Conflicting news on multiple news sources.

DAWN says that a Army convoy (which was coming back from the yesterday's attack site) was attacked by militants and PA repelled the attack and killed the militants.

The hotel incident was a selective raid from I gather.

Dawn is credible here (am saying it with full conviction) .

So far 23 militants killed on Wednesday while 10 more gone.

Most of those killed are Uzbek Nationals.

There may be civilian casualties too
