Well i dont know about your hindu samiti, Rain Man knows what im talking about. But couple of thousand people gathering in rural areas and then having a run in with police is very common in India, not that Im defending them. I don't think so. Politics in India have become personality driven rather than ideology. The party/combine with the most acceptable/popular CM/PM face will win Indian elections for the next few years at both state and central level.

Given this assumption, TMC looks comfortably ahead. BJP is of late projecting Roopa Ganguly, who I believe is reasonably popular. My hunch is that due this positive association,BJP will come second in vote share. lets see if my theory holds out.

Nah, BJP will be restricted to 10-12% vote share max, 15% would be beyond expectation! The opposition voters (other than the committed voters) generally vote for the party that can defeat the incumbent party, and BJP is not perceived to be that party, they have squandered the opportunity.

CPM has 25% committed voters, Congress has 6-8%, an alliance will pull some more floating votes nd some BJP votes...only this can beat TMC.

But my first post in the thread still stands, more important things going on in India which deserve a lil outrage from our brave nationalist fellows, I know you cum everytine at the thought of bengal being in fire and we dhimmis discredited, but when the govt and 56 inch who leads the govt act like dhimmi and preach against enemies of humanity and yoga lessons when more soldiers dying at every passing hour and home ministry dont seem to have any clue, then small comminal incidents in bengal can wait may be. Or lets make fun of barkha, whichever is easy!

Yes attack on Hindus in India doesn't deserve to be discussed, a secular silence is deterrent enough to counter growing Hindu intolerance.
