India is a secular country with freedom of expression, one can speak his mind here; whether it is calling prophet Muhammad the first homosexual or suggesting to piss on Hindu idols or drawing Maa Saraswati nude. Mr.Tiwari shouldn't be in jail.

Does freedom of expression mean that u can hurt sentiment of 250 million Indian Muslims? or one billion Hindus?

I didn't say kill him. i know India dont have blasphemy laws... punish him for incitement of hate atleast .. and arrest protesters who are burning and destroying public property.

May be.All Muslims support her & more than half Bengali populations too.She won election by brainwashing poor & doing frauds.But the thing is she grew up too many haters through scams & Muslim politics.Not only major portion of moderate Bengalis but also now huge amount of rural mass hates her..

Off course couple of thousand muslims protesting in rural bengal means bengal is in fire and deserve more outrage by 'nationalists' when there is a terrorist attack going on, and our govt looks hapless to stop it even before knowing about it for 40 hours in advance and our brave pm only has time to tweet about yoga and how we should defeat "enemies of humanity". Go to indian politics thread all you see what idiot barkha is tweeted.

Also stop tagging me in useless threads, I don't believe in anonymous news. Last time as per twitter whole Kolkata was in fire and a major riot broke up. I hastly called my parents in middle of the night to find out nothing of that sort has happened and its just sanghi trolls who are spreading rumours. So yes I will believe anandabazar or ei samay more than internet warrior.

The news is not anonymous anyway. Tapan Ghosh is a fearless Hindutvadi. He is not one to gloat on fake Hindu suffering. This much I can assure you.

We Muslims of Lucknow as well as our allies and brothers in Bengal are one and the same. We have a distinct Muslim culture and identity which has never been accepted by India and Indian Hindutvas. Despite the useless loyalty of some Muslims the Muslims still have not been integrated and I know many who are forced to look at the union of India as a separate nation towards which we have no emotional ink and which has suppressed our basic rights as Muslims.

This twitter account blames the Muslims as has been done always but refuses to even mention the other side. It does not even mention what Hindutvas have been doing continuously to us for the past 60+ years. From Mumbai riots to Gujarat genocide it is the average Muslim who has been suffering yet when we muslims raise our voice for those we have lost we are branded traitors and anti Hindu. I believe we Muslims must rise up and abandon this fake Indian identity. It has given us nothing other than making us slaves and has made it harder to ask for our rights. Our biggest problem is that we fear being labelled anti national. We should adopt a complete identity as anti national and work to merge our Lucknow and other regions with Pakistan. Muslims united are much better than Muslims divided.
