Sectarian Clash : Myanmar claims 'Jamaat link' : Dipu Moni tells JS

Hmm... but have there been any proven links with terrorism (other than the alleged gang rapes)? What is the American stance on them? AFAIK the US usually implements visa bans and so forth on members of political parties they are unfriendly with (like they do on the Burmese ruling elite). Do they do it to the jamati?

As far I know, they are not involved in terrorism but they surely know how to incite communal riots.

But there is other terrorist group HUJI (Harkat Ul Jehad Islami) which is terrorist group and have been involved in multiple terror attacks in Bangladesh and India.

But still it is no where what the radical extremist hindu males have done to the other woman in India .... N given Delhi the title "Rape Capital"....Though for India it is pretty common where woman's are treated and even named as "Nakusha" or "unwanted" ... N not to mention abortion of the female child's...

Shame: Delhi still India?s rape capital - Times Of India

So, they are a right wing group but without an (explicit) extremist agenda. It's interesting that the US have turned a blind eye to them as they are Pakistan friendly (or were anyway). Is it realistic to think that they would ever try to fund an autonomous caliphate in Myanmar? If they do then the backlash against the Rohingya would no doubt be military.

I wouldn't be too sure to go running for Chinese help in this on our part as I am suspicious as to how long our cordial relationship with them can last. We have been excessively friendly in the last 30 years but history shows us that our relationship is complicated at best.

I think you got wrong about Pakistan part, Jamatis want Bangladeshi to forget warcrimes done by Pakistan which majority Bangladeshis don't want to do . They have mostly local agenda related to Bangladesh, India and now it seems Myanmar also.
Being anti-Hindu, they are against Bangladesh's good diplomatic or trade relations with India always making hoax about even a small trade deal, They even dream of merging India's Assam state with Bangladesh.(Assam has faced problem of illegal immigration from Bangladesh, an Assamese friend told me these illegal immigrants keep one foot in India and other foot in Bangladesh).

If this accusation is true, then our future is not good, cause Jamat will come to power in the next parliament election :-)

First of all Jamat e Bangladesh is considered safer political group than BNP and Awamileague in US list. They have no business with Assam, they are india centric, most of Jamatis studied in Aligar..... Their only agenda is establishing Bangladesh as Islamic republic based on democracy!

I just feel sorry for you guys... n pathetic mentality... The news which has been published in all major news paper do you think would remain hidden from country people let alone this forum when so many thread on this rohingya issue has already been published here???

N a person who himself does not consider himself a Bangladeshi calling other "Ghaddar"... this is pretty funny... anyway "Ghaddar" to whom???

The Myanmar government has conveyed its anxiety to the Bangladesh mission there that the Jamaat-e-Islami had been helping the Rohingya groups in Bangladesh with arms to incite sectarian clashes in Myanmar.

If it was so we would have heard it from some foreign news source. I think it's a lie typical of awami bastards. In that case it's so irresponsible of a foreign minister. They can sabotage the country to remain in power.

This news did not surface for no reason... there must be something going on behind the scene either from jammat or from BAL and Myanmar Government or from some other international country.

Its a pretty important twist in this event and FM's statement will make it difficult to bring Myanmar on board now... or to charge them for the incident... but if Jammat is really involved they will come to the international radar this time and may face ban or sanction from numerous country...

Jamaat has a strong footing in Southern Coxs Bazar and Teknaf region. So any activities supporting Rohingiyas will have a role from Jamaat naturally. But, if BD decide to arm Rohingiyas then DGFI needs to keep Jamaat out of it, otherwise Jamaat will bring the fight to Dhaka. That is what I am worried about.

No communal riots exists in Bangladesh.
