Scrap the MMRCA: buy US F-35s

buying 5 th generation fighter without techonolgy or 4 th generation with technology
which is better ?
techology improves the whole indian air force whereas without tech its just 126 f 35

acquiring 4g technology and adding stealth to it by own(taking pakfa technology) efforts can help n making true 5g fighter

all the same.

india has a 50-60 years gap in these areas, there is no active R&D in those areas. you simply can't buy the 4th generation technology because no one is going to sell you.

for example, how many companies will teach you how to build an engine and work with you to make sure that does happen in your domestic factories? ZERO.

let's go over the wisdom of our Chinese leader:
you will never be able to buy a modernized armed forces.

If no one will be selling 4th gen tech, then we will invent it by ourself....Take the example of LCA.... Its a 4th gen fighter plane.

BTW...we are talking of 4.5 gen technology...not 4th gen tech which we already have...

With the c-130 hercules coming without key technologies ,i dont think we should go for either the f-16 super viper or f-18 or the f-35.

The argument is flawed lol we are not fighting the US to have F 35 nor are we going to fight with China ??? But we might have a conflict with Pakistan And i guess the MMRCA is still enough to dominate the skies over Pakistan.

Just coz we have money we should not invest in new unproven tech... Instead lets choose based on our military requirement
