No, Muslims (or non-Muslims for that matter) are allowed to have their own views and expectations (naturally) but what I object to are double standards and having way too high expectations for Arabs due to history and legacy or whatever else is the reason for that behavior (double standard and hypocrisy) and extreme interest in general.

Indonesia is the most populous Muslim nation in the world and the largest Muslim economy (if I am not wrong) in the world. Yes, 5 million Indonesians have Arab ancestry (Yemeni and Hijazi mostly) but why do Indonesians not get even 1% of the attention that Arabs get? Why do I not see hordes of Western converts, non-Muslim Arabs from Nigeria to Bangladesh having strong opinions about internal Indonesian affairs and policies?

Well, there are several reasons for this.

KSA is the country which has the two most holiest cities in Islam. Millions of Muslims from all around the globe visit your country for umrah or hajj. Many Muslims both from the west and the east, go to KSA for work. If you have so many foreign Muslims coming to your country then you will likewise get a lot of attention. And as you have the heart of Islam in your lands, people will also expect you to be religious.

Then there's the big problem of Israel. Yes back maybe 40 years ago you did an oil embargo but you know that was a long time ago. In the present day, your current rulers seem to willing to throw away the Palestinian cause. For example Sisi in Egypt helps Israel oppress Gaza. Such a betrayal of Palestinians will get your governments a lot of hate from the average Muslim around the globe. Even the Muslims who are not political will care about Palestine so you draw widespread condemnation. I know that the average arab Muslim hates Israel so noone has a problem with them but your government doesn't seem to be on the same wavelength.

Your rulers also draw a lot of attention and hate abroad. They quite openly seem to waste billions on yachts, paintings, living a wasteful corrupt luxurious life... I think there's an area in london here known for arab princes to come in their super cars. When hundreds of Millions of Muslims are suffering from poverty, seeing the rulers of the nation who exports their version of Islam abroad and proudly claims to be the custodian of the two holy mosques, spending their wealth on absolute garbage is going to draw a lot of hatred.

Also we do not have the same level of interest in all arab countries. Arabia is special place due to Islam and because of that, countries in or around the Arabian peninsula will get more attention and expectation.

Well I disagree with that, many major problems in most Muslim countries stem from being currently ruled or ruled at some point by irreligious (and normally) secular tyrants/dictators. They have been the biggest cause of suffering, death and oppression in the Muslim world.

Firstly, the vast majority of opposition fighters aren't ISIS.

Secondly the Syrian regime and ISIS rarely attacked each other for most of the war. ISIS prefers to attack rebels rather Assad. The regime has even been known for allowing ISIS fighters safe passage to rebel areas because they know full well that ISIS are going to attack sunni groups first.

Thirdly you seem to be forgetting about the 10,000s of sectarian murderous shia militia fighters on the ground.
