Like I said most likely Iran has plans for the replacement of F-14s/F-4s.
It is doubtful if Iran would ever buy fighters from russia but we could see russians engines/radars and avionics package for Iranian Air Force by 2020+

I would imagine the price tag would be 50% more then the market value to obliged russians to provide Iranians with what they want and developmental help.

Guys.. it takes a lot of effort to design, develop, test and induct a fighter from the beginning. Currently, very few have this capability in Asia limited to only 3-5 countries. But in future, we'd see more players joining the game.

This won't be possible yet buddy. While Pakistan and Turkey can very much manufacture joint fighters, inclusion of Iran at today's level would mean a lot of international pressure from NATO on Turkey and from US on you. So even though your idea is good, but it will have to wait a little while longer.

Yeah.. imagine if this thing gets its cockpit removed and gets a powerful automated command system including heavy sensor suit and integration with GPS/GLONASS etc. The design with slight wing modifications could give European, American and Israeli companies a run for their money. What's more, if they can internalize the weapons, it would be a totally lethal UCAV.
