SC acquits Aasia Bibi in blasphemy case

I'm not a liberal.. I'm a conservative and Muslim first. However I don't believe in the stupid blasphemy law. My God is strong. He Judges... not Jahil mullahs.

Why?... To satisfy the blood lust of ISIS Taliban Extremist Jahil Mullahs???

Let her go...

As soon as you use the term 'Jahil Mullah', you only show your own illiteracy. Death for Blasphemy against the Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wasallam is an established tenet of Islam

the killers will never fear from death but will desire it and consider it honor like mumtaz qadri

l
Who says you have to kill them? Throw them in jail, humiliate them, and prove to them that they're wrong.

The problem with the Qadri case was that no one ideologically stepped forward to prove him wrong, and because no one challenged him, the foolish sheep of Rizvi ended up turning him into a saint.

All it takes is one learned man, brave enough to challenge Rizvi and his sheep, to turn the tide against these extremists. The SC has done it's job, now it's up to the government and the Ulema to put Rizvi and Diesel in their place.

1 - Asia is saying she has not uttered such remarks and she has high regards for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran.

2 - Complainant and Prime Witnesses asked the police to write such remarks in FIR

My question to all members here.. if the case is not proven against Asia.. what should be done to those who wrote/ asked to include those remarks in FIR and later in the statements? Isn't it blasphemy itself?

Can we punish a person if a crime hasn't been proven?

I wonder if the CJ is going to take a suo moto against Khadim Rizvi and his followers who are protesting against the decision and have started to paralyse the country.

Go after the false accusers. Everyone involved in this conspiracy, who tried to kill this innocent woman should be arrested and put on trial.

Bro I am not liberal.. but I am in favor of capital punishment to those who disrespect Prophet (PBUH). But this law should be applicable on Muslims as well who also abuse others' religion in Pakistan.

This particular case, if you read the remarks of judges during proceedings, was so weak.. The eye witness accounts didn't corroborate with each other..

And if you look how it started.. the shameless Muslim women first asked Asia to bring water from the well, and when that lady was bringing that she felt thirst and drank from that water.. and those Muslim women who couldn't move their behinds to get the water for themselves started disrespecting her and her religion because she drank from the water which ironically she was bringing to help those Muslim women?!

And she said that she didn't disrespect the prophet (PBUH). it was the eye witnesses who couldn't agree on one account of events themselves.. one said that there were 50 people in the panchayat where she accepted her crime, the other said there were 2500 people in that panchayat..

When judges asked the person (a molvi of a local masjid) who registered FIR, whether he was present when she committed the crime, or even when she confessed.. he responded no he wasn't there.. he was told by someone that this had happened.. so he registered the FIR.. when court asked the name of the person who told him about this incident.. he said I don't remember the person..

Can you, being a Muslim yourself, give punishment in this case?

Here are some other facts. Every single person who has ever been incriminated because of blasphemy has been let go on the pretext of being mentally challenged. The European Union has made it clear they consider this a human rights violation. Our rulers prostrate before their overloads from the West and are ever ready to cater for there smallest whims. And we know there are people who openly profess their opposition to the very concept of capital punishment for blasphemy.

If the evidence was so weak, why did the other courts uphold this verdict? How can the Supreme Court decide the evidence was weak ten years after the actual event? And if this really was an error of judgement, then why isn't the woman being compensated for unnecessary imprisonment?

A Muslim woman named Aafia is languishing in an American jail, where she has been sexually harassed. There is no dearth of 'Pakistanis' who want to call her terrorist from the roof tops. A non-Muslim woman is clearly charged with an offence deserving capital punishment. People are bending over their backs to get her released.

Certainly, there is hypocrisy and irreligiousness at work here. This is only felt by someone who has the light of faith in his/her heart.

What about the blasphemy they have committed themselved by including such remarks in FIR and their statements, while Asia never uttered them in court or in front of police?

USA kills Pakistanis so therefore Pakistan should kill Pakistanis to avenge the deaths of Pakistanis killed by USA.

killer bodyguard of governor Tasreer was a Sufi as is the killer of a Scottish Ahmadi Muslim!

He may have thought he was a Sufi (he was apparently Barelvi, which isn't the same thing)... and he was clearly incited by a local Mullah to carry out the extra-judicial, illegal and un-Islamic killing of the man he was hired to protect. He broke so many Islamic principles that I don't know where to start!

Instead of saying stupid shit like ""libturd", how about making a proper fucking argument?

If you can't do that, than you're entire basic thought logic is a failure.

Prove to me that you're able to defend the name you picked on PDF, by making a compelling argument.

Here is some critical thought for you. You don't argue bigotry, hypocrisy, and double standards with logic. You call out the filth and treat them as such.

I request you to read the verdict before judging the judgement..

In Pakistan, it is extremely difficult for the lower courts to acquit accused in these cases.. Our lower courts do not have the courage simply..

You can take example of cases against TTP goons.. They were heard by military courts..

TLP just asked soldiers to rebel against the Pakistan Army...

In other words, they want to start a civil war, and are now proven traitors.

In other words, you have failed in defending your stance. I'm disappointed.
