Ignoring the opposition from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Mufti Mohd Sayeed government in Jammu Kashmir, Saturday, released chief of Muslim league and senior Hurriyat Conference leader Masarat Alam from Baramulla jail.

Alam was lodged in the Baramulla jail since 2010 after he was arrested for organising anti-India protests across the Kashmir valley.

Alam, who has 17 other cases pending against him and also carried a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh for information leading to his arrest, had gone underground after the protests and was nabbed by the police after four months from Telbal.

The separatist leader rose to prominence during the Amarnath land row in 2008. He was arrested in September 2008 and booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).

CM Mufti seems to have lost the plot. At this rate the BJP will soon pull the plug and bring back governor's rule in J&K where the Centre will have direct control. No more of the Mufti's shenanigans thereafter. He would have to cool his heels till the next elections in J&K. So he better watch out and not go overboard to molly coddle the terrorists.

We dont need hardcore Hinduism because you cant develop with some hard core idealogy .We need development .And Iam quite satisfied with BJP rule in GoI
Sayeed will get some shock treatment in near future no doubt.His excitation will end there.

I support the BJP too but I have no problem if it loses/cedes ground in Maha. to the SS & IN AP/TG to TDP & Lok Satta..
