Anyway Jerusalem is called Al-Quds (The Holy One) and Bayt al-Maqdis (The Place Pure of Sin) in Arabic. Al-Quds is almost exclusively used nowadays.

Kamal Salibi and St Paul don't agree that Jerusalem is in Palestine, but it is in Arab. Anyways thanks ..... I read all this in connection with something explaining how Hazrat Essa "Jesus" (Peace be upon him) as explained in Quran is a different person than Jesus of Bible. Two very different people who existed nearly a century after one and other. The Messenger Essa (Peace be upon him) mentioned in Quran was victorious and had a strong army of his companions (61:14), the Jesus mentioned in Bible was some ordinary person who went to Palestine claiming his inheritance to rule Palestine and got crucified by a Jew king (4:157). May be later someday on some relevant thread I would like to read anything that you could share in this context. Regards.

I think I listed example of the Hashimite Clan / Ibn Saud clan , how after the initial Rebellion against Turkish Empire (ottomans) the deep bond was some what reduced , as two factions were formed very quickly
