Egyptians hacked many more 'Israeli' sites immediately after the killing of 5 Egyptian security force members in Sinai recently and many more times including their "Prime Minister's" site. Inventing the first or last virus has nothing to do with it.

This was not a "cheap act". If it was a cheap act, they would have tried to get money out of those credit card numbers.

Instead, they published the numbers publicly. Which meant that the cards were instantly cancelled by the Credit card companies.

So no one made any money out of it. It was purely a political statement.

I dont use a credit card anyway because most of them require you to pay interest (Ribah) and so-called "Islamic" banks here do not provide any "Islamic" credit card unlike in some other Muslim countries. Not yet.
