The more they can make Gawadar operational, the more they will bleed Iran's influence.

That's good news, although KSA have lots of money to invest, but I don't have hope of any major investment. The non-Muslim countries have manifold more investments in Pakistan than rich brotherly countries.

Imagine if the Pakistanis give the Saudis some sort of naval presence in Gwadar... with conditions that state military hostilities can't endanger pakistan... just to spook the mullahs.

In turn a Saudi $50 billion investment ???

Saudis have invested morr in single usa channel fox news than it has in Pakistan

They have invested more in uber than all Muslim counties combined even through uber seems to going to crash and is risky investment

So no i don't expect anything

Guys, you can not blame SA either...When it is matter of money,every ones looks out for returns...So before asking and complaning them about their investment, did any of the Muslim nations made themselves attactive enough to invest and get a solid return out of their investment? If not, why do you blame SA rather blame yourself that you did not create enough foundation and enviroment to get invesntment by your Muslim rich nations??? Every one values their money...No one would like invest in a country where there is no return on investment...

If one day, Pakistan would be attactive like other developing nations, then every one will be eager to invest in your country....Do not compare SA investment with China...China has a need that requires gateway to connect with Arabian sea so they make CPEC but for SA, they do not have as such any compulsion, that can not be fulfilled by West...

If i understand correctly, SA provided lot of aid and finances lot of Oil bill for Pakistan at the time of crisis....So that is a very good gesture of them for Pakistan..

So why are we even discussing Saudis ...
if we had A+ rating we would nt even needed saudis for investment.....

It's not the returns ...its the risk...
People had consistently getting 20% return but risk is still high
