Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Says Dialogue With Iran Is Impossible

What kind of extreme ideology has been spread by Iran?
Please visit areas near Gujrat which have become hubs of sectarian violence though curbed so far will come out. The Faislabad and Chiniot areas of Pak still bear scars of Iran/KSA rivalry.

If u can please visit Pakistan and do some research work without wearing sectarian glasses. In recent past on the basis of some skirmish in Pindi area throats of younger children were cut. Then another example is Zainbia brigade used by Iran to push Pak and Afghan Shia youth in Syrian crises. Now some youngsters coming back to Pak and involved in terrorist acts. One was caught and media channels openly relayed news.

On the other side there are clear videos of Wahabi youth of Pak/Afghan ethnicity fighting opposite to Syrian Govt.

I am sorry as I am neither Shia nor Wahabi still face insecurity due to brutal acts of past by both sects in my country.

It is a question of perception.. as we all know the Iranian revolution of 1979 came as a salvation for the majority of oppressed Iranians by the Shah regime.. Now that Shia'a minorities are trying to get their rights all over the place in the Arab and Muslim world, while we never heard of oppression of Shi'a Muslims in those countries ever before..a problem has arisen!
So what is going on? A minority trying to do a revolution? That has never worked, and only caused some troubles to otherwise stable nations..
Now, and since this started to happen, fingers are pointing to Iran as an exporter of its revolution.. but in my humble opinion, Iran is not that stupid to try to export a revolution that fitted a majority population to fit it to minority populations..
So the problem must be stirred from elsewhere playing with the Iranian revolution card to create sectarianism in the Muslim world and hence divide it, put it through military conflicts to weaken it and spread fear to sell weapons and "virtual protection".. (case 1)

With this said, if Iran or some Arab states have a hand in this, that means they are playing a political game that makes some sense to them to advance their economic, political and strategic interests on each other's back, while the populations of the region are kept haggard and anxious.. only the outcome will justify these means, and hopefully it will have a positive outcome for the whole region one day.. if this is the case.. (case 2)

Bahrain is a majority Shia country being oppressed by a Sunni monarchy. Shia Iraqis as a majority were oppressed by Saddam. The same case is going on in Saudi (except in Saudi they are a minority), but there isn't much going on there yet.

The problem is that the phenomenon was spread to almost every Muslim and Arab country.. I have never heard that Shia'a were persecuted under Saddam.. Kurds yes.. As far as Bahrain is concerned, Most Saudis consider it as an independent part of KSA, but dependent on Saudi security forces, since it is a very tiny country with barely 300 000 population, and any trouble there can spread very quickly to KSA, since there is only a bridge separating the two of them.. I am just trying to clarify the picture here. What I had to say about sectarianism in the middle east was said in my previous post..

I did that and my post was deleted along with a warning. Your other countrymen have seen what I sent.

Those "Jews of Israel" as you put it are in fact very anti-Israel. This is why I asked if you could post a picture of Iranian Spiritual leaders with Jews of Israel as you claimed.

That was the Queen and that picture was taken before the revolution kicked out the Shah to the curb. Would you like to wager what would have happened to him had he not kissed the hand of his "Queen" back in those days?

Pitty, you even try to defend this.

He talk because we have a weak president in power ....

its thank to pro Sunni media ...

Asked if Saudi Arabia was ready to open a direct dialogue with Tehran, Mohammad said it was impossible to talk with a power that was planning for the return of the Imam Mahdi - whom Shi'ites believe was a descendent of the Prophet who went into hiding 1,000 years ago and will return to establish global Islamic rule before the end of the world.

"Its (Iran's) logic is that the Imam Mahdi will come and they must prepare the fertile environment for the arrival of the awaited Mahdi and they must control the Muslim world."

Mr. Prince seems showing the real face of arab regimes. They has nothing to do with Islam and all they are up to is to acquire power and control to keep a hold on wealth of muslims.
All muslim sects believe in arrival of Hazrat Imam Mehdi if not one way then another. Only Israel and its allies are afraid of Imam Mehdi arrival.
I am not a pro Iranian or pro Shiet but that is the truth.

I will ship Saudi-Iran friendship so hard that i am gonna explode <3

Because you simply don't know anything about Iraq during Saddam's era. It's time to pick up a book or use Google at least, will help you a bit.

I'll be glad if you enlighten us a bit about Shia'a prosecution in Iraq under Saddam..
I know there was some Shia'a uprising in Iraq shortly after the Iranian revolution, and that was one of the main causes of the Iran-Iraq war.. Do you have something else to add?

That's why you should use Google or a book.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_uprisings_in_Iraq

Nearly 60,000-100,000 civilians were killed in the domestic uprising.

and that was one of the main causes of the Iran-Iraq war.

No it wasn't. Saddam always had an eye on Iran's territory even in Shah's time, when there was various cross-border incidents and aggressions by Iraq. After revolution our army was severely weakened, Saddam thought it's a good time to finish the job, but he was wrong, as we know today.
