Saudi Arabia will apparently grant Morocco $22 billion to help finance its military industry, according to reports. The money will be invested through 2019.

On 16 December, Arabic daily Al-Massae reported that Saudi Arabia agreed to the funding following the signing of a military and technical cooperation agreement between the two countries’ armed forces.

Minister Delegate to Morocco’s Head of Government for the administration of National Defense, Abdellatif Loudiyi, met in Rabat with Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Ayesh, Saudi Deputy Defense Minister, reports Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).

Saudi Arabia will provide military intelligence to Morocco and help establish it as a weapons manufacturer. Morocco has attracted foreign aerospace and defence companies, with Bombardier, Airbus, Safran and Thales opening facilities or offices in the North African country.

KSA should have used that money to try and diversify it's own economy instead, but it won't. No matter how many times we hear KSA saying that it will decrease it's dependency on oil, nothing has come of it so far.

Instead, they're spending far too much on their military, while their economy is tanking.

They are doing it. Years of dependency won't change in 4 to 5 years but work has begun results would come soon.

Now for topic Morocco needs to increase Air Force and JF-17 BLOCK III will be great option also add Submarines to its Navy for that new Kilo class of Russia will be great and as for Tank and Artillery and other machines Pakistan and Turkey can provide easy affordable options

Yemen, Irak, Syria and domestic subsidies drained the coffer, just think about the Yemeni has cost them to rally the countries that joined KSA, without counting the losses in military equipment and the daily cost of the war.

But will not invest single pie in Pakistan in this field and come for both hand help..
