What about South Korea? They made the K21 and many other without American help.

South Korea is more advanced in R&D than the Arabs and had much more open doors for TOT..be it in the US or Western Europe..fortunately SK is working very closely with many Arab states now..and there are a lot of JVs, TOT, R&D and cooperation on all levels..The day won't be far when you'll see some similar IFVs in Arab armies made locally.. maybe the K31!
