Because of KSA collaboration with British Kingdom in 1924 not only helped Ottoman Empire collapsed but also made inroad for the formation of Israel. So Palestine has never been the priority for KSA.

From 1948 to this day, KSA diplomatic relationship with Israel has been untested which is suffice to assume that KSA might recognize Israel for strong reasons that may benefit KSA.
