Saudi Arabia executes prominent Shiite Ayatollah

Nothing will happen. Saudi land, Saudi law. Respect the law of the land or don't live there. Unless someone can throw light on trial was carried out unjustly, I don't think it can be criticised. Such punishments are result of theocratic governance style and are same both in Iran and KSA. Both are same. Good are bad is a personal opinion.

In the case of these executions in Saudi Arabia, the trials and executions happened in secret. Your cultural relativism is disgusting, as well as your lack of moral values.

Another disgraceful scum who morally approves the beheading and crucification of an important local community leader with largely non-violence aspirations, only because he spoke out against the oppressive methods of the Saudi government. You are not any different from ISIS.

I know the likes of these scums..These Iranian pets create sectarian divisions and wants to run an Iranian-led militia/govt against their own country..Look what these scums have done in Lebanon,Bahrain,Yemen..They only promote Iranian interests via division and blood shed..So once again a wonderful job done by KSA.. :D

You are a disgustful scum. Al-Nimr never called for any armed uprising, and to morally speak out against an oppressor government is completely line with universal human rights.

He was arrest in possession of arms after a gun fight with security forces trying to resist arrest...the government gave him an amnesty to peacefully turn him over and he went into hiding..having lived in Saudi for 30 Years..I understand the politics well...

Iran wants to be seen as the Shia rights and freedom champion yes in reality its all about oil..if Iran is able to project power in Iraq and Eastern Saudi Arabia..it can create a massive rebel backed oil cartel which will give it high political leverage..because with Iran + Iraq + Saudi oil combined it is a major chunk of global trade...

Here we have another Deoobandi sectarian scum who fails to look behind the 'Iranian/Shia' narrative the Saudis have spread in the region.

KSA will get paid for this immoral action.

You should look into the Shia militia actions in Iraq and Syria before the ISIS and Daesh came to picture..basically ISIS and Daesh were befitting response to Iranian backed brutality...this narrative is not actually spread by Saudi it was founded by many analysts....

30 years of living in that Wahhabi State certainly did not do any good to your moral values. He was not arrested in possession of arms, and any such claims are nothing more than forged accusations to behead the leader of a politically active community that spoke out against oppression.

What Iranian proxies have been doing in Iraq earlier and later Syria spelled the rise of Daesh and ISIS...its an action reaction thing where anecdote of a poison is more lethal than poison itself..

They just chopped the head of the same ideology...A job well done..As they say root out the Fitnah before it gets out of control,so they just did what was in their best interest...An Iranian talking about giving rights to others,Funny isn't it..First give basic rights to Sunni's in Iran then lecture others..

Bullcrap. ISIS in Iraq is the continuation of Al Qaeda in Iraq, who started to attack Shia's long before the civil war started.

sir, you cannot raise arms in an Islamic state, that's the golden Islamic principle. why such double standards? one can do civil disobedience though,
even you know saudis won't fall until.............:-)

Thank you for your remarks. When it comes to freedom of speech or criticism on state ideology, either KSA or Iran are equally miserable. It is really hard to choose.

So you would have approved the Meccan leaders behead the prophet just because he and his followers started to speak out against religious oppression in the 7th century? You fail to see that Islam itself started as a revolutionary movement.
