PESHAWAR, May 29 (APP): Former Chief Minister Sardar Mehtab Khan, Chief Minister-designate Pervez Khattak, nominated Finance Minister, Sirajul Haq and former State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anisa Zaib Tahirkheli took oath as Member Provincial Assembly in the inaugural session of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly here Wednesday. The outgoing speaker Kirmatullah Khan administered oath to them.
Prominent among others MPAs, who took oath of their membership include Provincial President Qumi Watan Party Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, former provincial ministers, Sardar Hussain Babak, Malik Amjad Afridi, Salim Khan, Wajahu Zaman and Mehir Taj Roghani.
As many as 121 MPAs of KP Assembly out of 124 took oath today majority of them are young and having first appearance in the parliament.
They were warmly welcomed by the seasoned parliamentarians.
