The trailer of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s upcoming movie ‘Raazi’ was released yesterday and by the looks of it, the movie seems like yet another anti-Pakistan flick.

As if that wasn’t enough, one twitter user dared to compare Alia’s reel character to real life Indian sportswoman Sania Mirza and she was not happy about it.

‘Raazi’ is an adaptation of Harinder S Sikka’s book titled ‘Calling Sehmat’ that is said to be based on true life events that happened in 1971. Alia plays the character of ‘Sehmat,’ an Indian spy married to a Pakistani policeman that infiltrates in the country to extract secrets.

Seeing its trailer, twitter page founded by one of Indian comedian/writer Karan Talwar compared Alia’s character from the movie to Indian tennis player Sania who is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. However, the Indian celebrity sportswoman was not one bit happy over this comparison.

Alia’s upcoming movie also features Vicky Kaushal, who plays the role of his Pakistani husband. The movie is set to release on May 11, however, there are high chances that the film might face a ban in Pakistan for obvious reasons.

Alia Bhatt is a Kashmiri spy in Pakistan in ‘Raazi’

Sleeping with the enemy acquires literal meaning in Raazi, Talvar director Meghna Gulzar’s latest movie. Raazi, written by Gulzar and Bhavani Iyer, is set in 1971, before the Indo-Pak war. Alia Bhatt plays Sehmat, a Kashmiri woman recruited by the Research and Analysis Wing to gather intelligence about Pakistan’s plans for the war. Encouraged by her father Hidayat (Rajit Kapur), Sehmat is married to a member of the Pakistani Army (Vicky Kaushal). Her father-in-law too happens to a high-ranking member of the defence forces. Before leaving for Pakistan, Sehmat gets trained in surveillance and self-defence, skills that she will need as she steps into a hostile environment.

The movie is an official adaptation of Harinder S Sikka’s 2008 novel Calling Sehmat. The cast includes Jaideep Ahlawat as Sehmat’s handler and Arif Zakaria. Raazi will be released on May 11.

All Indian content should be banned...WTF people watch such stupid things and then start comparing it...we should neither watch the shyte from the Nangadesh nor compare it with anyone. The world is too big...we need to find good quality things...

who plays the role of his Pakistani husband

Pakistani people are too suspicious
Actually, Sania is not Pakistani (she is the one who was annoyed) and neither is Karan (the one who annoyed her :P)

BTW, the movie yet again shows how the hatred for Pakistan is deep rooted in Indian society and it is more than "Arry nahi yeh tu sb siyasatdanoon kay kaam hein, hum awaam tu ap say buth prem krty hein" (Oh no, these things/differences are just created by politicians otherwise we people love each other) as i have been told almost EVERY TIME i have met some Indian guy  If that was the case, if the population/public was not so hate filled the movies would have been MUCH different.

That's totally true...their hatred against Pakistan is in their DNA.. Even the ones who claim "amman ki asha" get triggered if you point out the atrocities by their terrorist army in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and you will see them doing the robust defence of their perpetration and we have lot of such hypocrites on PDF.
