Samtel India breaks Japanese monopoly in avionics products

India (and desis) leverage the common people's lack of knowledge and insight about India and Indians to OVER-EXAGGERATE India's capabilities, to "pull-a-fast-one-over-foreigners", and thus gain advantage. Unfortunately for them, more and more foreigners are uncovering the lies and half-lies. The truth is..... the myth of their "super-brains"..... the fantasy of their industry mastery.... cooked up religious fanatics.... bharat dictatorship over unwilling serfdoms.... their un-mighty military..... the IT revolution that never was..... hundreds of millions of Dalits, minorities, poor suffering.....

Decades ago, I too gave them too much benefit-of-the-doubt. It wasn't until I witnessed with my own eyes, and my fascination about their unique culture and 'business-style' increased dramatically. From then I have become a huge expert on India, Indian industry and capabilities (or lack of), and their psychological mentality.

Take this one small example. Tata and Reliance Industries are the two largest conglomerates in India, with Tata being the larger of the too. Yet what Tata can boast about is limited to: oil refining, junk autos ("their" heavy-trucks is Korea's Daewoo), tea (bought British Tetley), 'body-shopper' TCS, miscellaneous stuff, and a digitial wristwatch. And I seriously doubt they even have the domestic capability to manufacture a wristwatch, much less design one. If India cannot even domestically produce something as simple as a cheap digital wristwatch you see selling at Walmart, then how do you expect anything more advance from them?

then why your on goverment order 8000 around bus order to TATA's
if it is scarp.

New Delhi: Breaking the Japanese monopoly in the World for Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS), Samtel Display Systems (SDS), a key Indian player in high-technology products for commercial and military avionics applications, is replacing Sony as the single source in the World.

this article is so vague about what monopoly is it. and some key word is missing such as Sony as the single source (of what or to whom) in the World

secondly, with some common sense we konw that US will never allow such a critical system to be monopolized only by one foreigne country. otherwise, this would be a weapon more devastating then atomic bombs. because no aircrafts could be manufactured around the world if Sony said "NO".

since the article provide so litle information, i vistied the SDS webside to find out something more concrete. General speaking, SDS is a LED display manufacutre for sure, but is it a LED panel manufacture, like factories with several LED panel product lines located in Taiwan,China,Malaysia..., or is it a LED panel designer like Sony, Sharp, Samsung..., i don't konw. besides that, i "googled" some huge amount of EFIS manufactures worldwide, including (only some of them):

Anderson Electronic Interprises US
NEW Anderson Eletronic Enterprises US
AoA from Dynon Avionics US
blue mountains avionics US
DIGIFLY in Italy IT
Digisky IT
Dynon Avionics US
Flying the Fish ZA
Grand Rapids Technologies US
iHUD Multifunction Cockpit US
Kanardia CZ
Light Sport Aviation Scandinavia SE
PCFlightSystems US
VP-EFIS and VP-EMS DE

If the Tatas are so bad as you claim them to be, then can you please explain why your government (Chinese!) invited TCS to China offering them deals to open their office ?

Waiting for an interesting explanation from you (patiently)
